Candidate FAQ's

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is NCAP’s care team model? Are CRNAs medically directed or supervised?

NCAP operates under a medical supervision care team model, where physician anesthesiologists supervise multiple CRNAs across many of our clinical sites. With over 100 providers—30% anesthesiologists and 60% CRNAs—we foster a strong, collaborative partnership with our facilities to deliver the highest standard of perioperative care.

CRNAs are expected to perform with a high degree of autonomy, while maintaining consistent communication with supervising physicians, who are immediately available for consultation or assistance. We take pride in supporting CRNA practice and cultivating a collegial, team-oriented environment where both CRNAs and physicians thrive.
